How the run actually behaves
Dreamland Survivors by Zadzi twists the standard single-arena formula into a multi-stage expedition. Your weapons fire automatically while you dodge monster swarms, dash through tight encirclements with Space or Shift, and select upgrade cards using keys 1–3. Instead of ending at a hard timer, the 10:00 mark spawns a stage boss; defeating it opens an interactive portal (press E) that transports your character and your entire accumulated weapon build into the next biome.
A full expedition spans three distinct realms: the starter Dreamland Plains, the icy Frostlands, and the high-density Forgotten Crypt. Every run awards Silver, which you spend in the meta shop to permanently unlock new heroes, weapons, items, and base stat upgrades.
