How the run actually behaves
Solar Survivors takes the horde-survival genre into open space, where enemies approach from full 360-degree vectors without terrain walls. Your starfighter relies on a mix of forward-mounted cannons, auto-tracking laser batteries, and orbiting defense drones.
Because space offers unlimited kiting room, the main danger is getting encircled by high-speed interceptor squadrons. Maintaining thruster speed and at least one 360-degree orbital weapon keeps your flight path clear while collecting salvage.
